Gearing Up for Halloween 2024

Now that memorial day is behind us haunted houses in Maryland and across the country are getting into full build mode. Set designers and building crews will be hard at work all summer creating the elaborate scenes that will terrify visitors this October. At The Nevermore Haunt we have a lot of exciting changes in store. We’re looking forward to reworking some old scenes to keep the haunt fresh as well as adding new, never before seen…scenes! With new characters and new props. We’re also looking to expand our front of house offerings. One of the things that sets our event apart from other haunted houses in Maryland is our free front-of-house entertainment, featuring sideshow performers, clowns and fire dancers. Our event features local food trucks and an on-site bar serving popular local beers and wine. If you come out on our busier nights we also feature a DJ spinning lots of classic spooky vinyls.

This time of year is also when haunted attractions start getting lots of emails from prospective staff. We normally conduct interviews in August and September.
